SBI Exams 2019: SBI PO, SO and Clerk

State Bank of India (SBI) is India’s leading Public Sector Bank. The bank exam for recruitment in SBI is conducted annually for different posts and is one of the most sought after exams in the country. SBI Exam Pattern: SBI PO and Clerk

Exam pattern for PO and the clerk exam for SBI is the same. The exam pattern and syllabus for SBI SO differs from the other two exams. Bank exam is conducted in three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective)
  2. Mains Examination (Objective & Descriptive)
  3. Interview

SBI Exam Pattern: SBI SO

The exam for SBI SO is conducted for candidates with specialization in any subject mentioned in the official notification. The exam pattern for SBI SO has three stages:

  1. Paper 1 comprises the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability

Paper 2 consists of Professional Knowledge, which includes questions regarding their specialization.

  1. Interview

The bank exam for SBI SO is conducted for various posts, and candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the specialization they select. The second paper in the written exam only consists of the questions related to the post the candidate opts for.

SBI Exam- Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for bank exams need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, as mentioned by SBI. The requirements for SBI Exam are given below:

  1. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India
  2. Age: Candidate should be between 21 and 30 years of age.
  3. Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate from any Government recognized University in any discipline, except for candidates appearing for SBI SO.

Apart from this, there is age relaxation and relaxation in the number of attempts for candidates belonging to SC/ST or OBC category.
